was this when the ATC idea came up first? we were filling our ‚sticky back’ (as don calls the panini stickers) hockey albums during the olympic winter games in calgary 1988 at don’s studio. i was certainly astonished how much fun it was to sit at a table trading hockey cards with a handful of (grown up) canadians and have really interesting discussions – not only about hockey but LIFE in general. the trading situation was very relaxing and i was certainly fascinated by the simplicity of the setting: give them some cards to trade (and a beer if possible) and they are happy.
